Children's Aid Society

National Clearinghouse on Family Violence (NCFV)

The NCFV is a national resource centre in Canada focusing on violence within the family and looking for new resources being used to address it. Safe OnLine Outreach Project (SOLO)

SOLO has been developed to address the emerging issue of sexual exploitation of youth on the Internet. Grounded in the United Nation's Convention on the Rights of the Child, SOLO's goal is to create educational material for professionals who serve children and youth and make them aware of the risks to young people on the Internet. SOLO aims to prevent sexual exploitation on the Internet by educating communities about potential dangers, educating service providers and police about intervention methods and educating policy makers on the risks and harms associated with sexual exploitation on the Internet.
